The rest of the first episode takes place mainly in Brooklyn of the same year, where wide-eyed Jewish tearaway Jonah ( Logan Lerman) watches his grandmother be murdered by an unknown assailant. Before he completes the massacre, he explains to Helen that she was right, he is a Nazi, one of many living in America, preparing to rise up and create a new reich. He shoots his wife and three children, two other guests and Hirsch. Biff pleads innocence at first, then calmly reaches under his grill for a pistol. When Helen sees Biff’s face she freezes, drops her pie, and starts screaming that he is the “butcher”, a Nazi who killed her family. Biff’s junior colleague Hirsch (Stephen Pilkington) arrives with his wife Helen (Izabella Miko) ready to talk shop.
His children are playing in the pool, and the lawn is scattered with brightly coloured inflatables. He has a margarita and an apron that says “kiss the cook”. The camera descends from above onto the garden of a large house in rural Maryland in 1977, where elderly patriarch Biff Simpson (Dylan Baker) is hosting a barbecue. They are beautiful to watch, especially when witnessed so close up.Hunters (Amazon Prime) opens with a scene of cartoonish violence that catches the viewer off-guard. The octopus glides across the ocean bottom. They then inject toxic saliva into the shells which kills the animal, allowing the shells to be more easily pried open. They have a specialized tooth on their tongue that they use to bore tiny holes in mollusk shells. The octopus can change shape, texture, and colour to camouflage itself for ambush or for concealment. It has more ability to remember and learn than any other invertebrate. This diver is meeting one of the ocean's most capable hunters. As he moves closer to inspect the object, it suddenly comes to life and lifts up and away from him. Only a tiny movement causes the diver to focus on the black lump that looks like a rock or piece of coral. As the scuba diver approaches, he is unsure of what is right in front of him. This octopus has attached itself to a chunk of coral and it has changed its colour and texture so that it resembles part of the ocean floor. The octopus is a perfect example of a creature with incredible adaptations and abilities. This balance can flip in an instant and almost all of the animals have unique ways of tipping the balance in their favour and increasing their odds. The creatures of the ocean exist in a delicate balance where they can be the predator one minute and the prey the next.
Life beneath the waves is complex and intriguing. It is a world of bizarre and fascinating animals, colourful coral, and sights that are beautiful beyond description. Scuba diving is a thrilling sport that takes people into a world that only the lucky few get to experience.
